PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Virginia junior Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) stormed into the consolation singles final on Saturday (Oct. 4) at the 2014 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.

No. 5 Elbaba (3-1) dominated Florida’s Brianna Morgan 6-0, 6-0 in the semifinals and will meet No. 1 Jamie Loeb of North Carolina in the consolation final on Sunday. Elbaba looks to avenge a 7-5, 6-1 loss to Loeb at the inaugural American Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 6. The winner of the Loeb-Elbaba match receives automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Nov. 6-9 in Flushing, N.Y.
