CHARLOTTESVILLE – The fourth-ranked Virginia women’s soccer team concludes a two-game homestand Sunday as it hosts NC State. Game time at Klöckner Stadium is 2 p.m.

Sunday is Scarf Day at Klöckner Stadium as the first 1,500 fans will receive a Virginia Soccer scarf.

Tickets for the game are $7 for adult general admission and $5 for youth, senior and faculty/staff general admission. Group tickets (20 or more) are $4. Free parking is available in the University Hall lots.

Virginia (12-1, 4-1 ACC) scored a season-high six goals Thursday to defeat Boston College 6-3 at Klöckner Stadium. Makenzy Doniak (Chino Hills, Calif,) had two goals and an assist against the Eagles and is now tied for the ACC lead with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists this season. Danielle Colaprico (Freehold, N.J.) had a goal and two assists against Boston College and now ranks second in the conference with nine assists.

The Cavaliers enter the game riding a school-record 27-game home winning streak, the longest active streak in the nation. Against unranked opponents, Virginia has won 42 consecutive games and is unbeaten in its last 56 games (55-0-1).

The Wolfpack (2-9-2, 0-5 ACC) is looking to snap an eight-game winless streak (0-6-2) since a 3-0 win over Coastal Carolina on Sept. 4. Four of NC State’s five conference losses have been by one goal, including a 1-0 defeat at Louisville on Thursday.

Virginia leads the all-time series 23-12-1, including an 11-4-0 edge in Charlottesville. The Cavaliers have won the last four meetings and 18 of the last 19 games in the series. Virginia won last year’s meeting 5-0 in Raleigh.

Virginia will begin a three-game road trip on Oct. 19 at Louisville. It will be the first meeting between the schools and will mark the Cavaliers’ first trip to the state of Kentucky.
