CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-The Virginia swimming and diving teams split up this weekend to compete for the final time before the ACC Championships. The Cavalier divers will host the Virginia Diving Invitational Saturday (Feb. 7) at noon at the Aquatic and Fitness Center, while the UVa swimmers will travel to Christiansburg, Va., for the Virginia Tech Invitational Feb. 7-8.

Virginia Diving Invitational
The action begins at noon with the men’s 3-meter and women’s 1-meter events, followed by the women’s 3-meter and men’s 1-meter events. The final event will see the divers compete off the 5-meter tower in platform diving.

Admission to all UVa home meets at the AFC is free to the public.

Virginia Tech Invitational
The meet will have prelims and finals on both Saturday and Sunday. Prelims for both days will begin at 10 a.m., while finals are slated to start on 6 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Next up, the Cavaliers will compete in the ACC Championships in Atlanta. The women’s swimming and diving meet and men’s diving portion will be contested Feb. 18-21, while the men’s swimming events will be held Feb. 25-28.
