CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s lacrosse senior attacker Casey Bocklet have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Co-Offensive Players of the Week.

Bocklet helped lead the Cavaliers to a pair of wins over ranked opponents this week. Bocklet had a first-half hat trick against fourth-ranked and previously unbeaten Duke, helping Virginia build up a 7-3 lead before the break in an eventual 13-10 ACC win. She added a goal and three assists in a 14-12 win over No. 12 James Madison. The South Salem, N.Y. senior also won a pair of draw controls, one in each game.

Bocklet shares the honor with Boston College’s Mikaela Rix who recorded a team-high four goals, including the overtime game-winner, as the Eagles scored a 10-9 ACC victory at No. 2 North Carolina.

This is the first career player of the week honor for Bocklet.

Bocklet was also named this week’s Epoch/Lacrosse Magazine National Player of the Week.
