Kolod Finishes Action on First Day of NCAA Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa–Virginia senior diver JB Kolod finished action on the first day of the NCAA Championships Thursday (March 26) at the University of Iowa’s Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
Kolod (Pittsburgh, Pa.) placed 24th on the 1-meter springboards with a score of 329.40 points. The senior will compete in 3-meter diving on Friday (March 27) and in the platform event on Saturday (March 28).
Junior swimmer Yannick Kaeser (Mumpf, Switzerland) will also be in action the next two days, competing in the 100 breast Friday and 200 breast Saturday.
Prelims for swimming are set to begin at 12 p.m. Eastern each day, with finals at 8 p.m. Diving each day begins at 2:45 p.m.
