CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Three Virginia volleyball players earned All-ACC honors the league announced on Wednesday (Nov. 25).

Senior Lauren Fuller (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) was a first team selection, fellow senior Natalie Bausback (Carlsbad, Calif.) was a second team selection and freshman Anna Walsh (Grapevine, Texas) earned All-Freshman Team honors.

It is Fuller’s third All-ACC honor, but first time being selected to the first team. Fuller has paced Virginia’s offense to a .247 hitting percentage, starting at setter in all 29 matches. She dished out 1173 assists to average 10.96 assists per set on the season, which ranks second in the conference. Fuller also tallied six double-doubles on the year.

Bausback was named to the second team after averaging 2.90 kills per set and 1.22 blocks per set. The middle blocker recorded the first triple-double of her career against Alabama and has a team-best eight double-doubles. Bausback has notched double figure kills in 15 matches and has led UVA in blocks in 20 matches.

Walsh was selected to the All-Freshman Team after averaging 2.58 blocks per set and 0.85 blocks per set in 29 matches. Walsh earned Freshman of the Week honors four times this season, which is a school record. She has notched double figure kills in 13 matches, including a career-high 20 kills against Syracuse.

Virginia is 18-11 on the season and 10-8 in conference action with two matches remaining in the regular season. The Cavaliers close out the season this weekend at Pittsburgh on Friday at 4 p.m. and Virginia Tech on Saturday at 4 p.m. in a Commonwealth Clash match.
