CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia volleyball junior Haley Kole (Tallahassee, Fla.) was named to the ACC All-Academic Volleyball Team, the conference announced Monday (Feb. 8).

It is the second time Kole has been earned the academic honor, after also being selected as a freshman. The outside hitter was among 31 honorees on this year’s team.

Kole was also a leader on the court for the Cavaliers. She led UVA with 348 kills to average 3.00 kills per set. She had double-digit kills in a team-best 22 matches and was third on the team with 231 digs to finish with five double-doubles on the season.

To be eligible for consideration for the ACC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
