#UVAROW’s Casto Named to Leadership Program
UVA rowing co-captain Sam Casto (Dallas, Pa.) is one of three collegiate rowers to be named to the Class of 2017- Advanced Certificate in Rowing Leadership program. The program is sponsored by USRowing and The Institute for Rowing Leadership at Community Rowing. Casto and the Class of 2017 join four previous classes of alumni changing lives through rowing while working in capacities throughout the rowing world and a fifth class of fellows on pace to graduate in June. Five @UVAAlumni to Compete at U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon
Five University of Virginia graduates are set to run in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon Saturday in Los Angeles. Anna Corrigan, Emily Harrison and Rachel Ward will race in the women’s contest, while Jeff Eggleston and Sean Keveren will compete in the men’s race. The races will be broadcast live on NBC and the NBC Sports Live Extra app starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Good luck Hoos!
