#UVAWBB sophomore guard Aliyah Huland El took to social media after Sunday’s victory at Rutgers to thank the fans who have made it out to cheer on the Hoos in the WNIT. The #RoadWarriors will play again on Tuesday night at Hofstra in the Round of 16.
Senior swimmer Courtney Bartholomew finished her career Saturday night at the NCAA Championships as the national runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke, cementing her place in the Cavalier record books. She finished her career with 13 first-team All-America nods, the most in program history, and after the race retired from competitive swimming in a post-meet press conference. The first thing she did after retiring was to thank Wahoo Nation for all of their support on Twitter.
