CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s soccer got a hat trick from Veronica Latsko (Venetia, Pa.) on Wednesday night with a 6-1 win over William & Mary as the Cavaliers continued spring exhibition play. It was the first of two home matches this week.

Virginia will return to action at 2 p.m. on Saturday, hosting VCU on the Upper Grass Fields below Klöckner Stadium.

In the win over the Tribe, the Cavaliers spread the ball around with goals from four different players, including the Latsko hat trick. Also scoring goals for Virginia were Alexis Shaffer (Cary, N.C.), Megan Reid (Orinda, Calif.) and Christiana Sullivan (Houston, Texas).

Kelsey Kilgore (Glen Allen, Va.) played the full 90 minutes in goal for the Cavaliers, surrendering only the one goal in the outing.
