CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 13 Virginia (13-9, 8-5 ACC) women’s tennis team closes out the regular season at home Sunday, hosting No. 51 Notre Dame (11-11, 5-8 ACC) at 10 a.m. at the Snyder Tennis Center. It will be Senior Day for the Cavaliers as the program honors four players prior to the match.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 6-1 win over Pittsburgh on Friday in which Virginia grabbed the doubles point and won five-of-six singles matches.

Fans can follow the action through live stats and video linked at VirginiaSports.com. Sunday’s match will also feature a face painter and balloon artist while Bodo’s Bagels will be free for fans starting at 9:30 a.m.

The Cavaliers feature three players ranked nationally in the latest ITA singles rankings and one doubles team in the latest ITA doubles rankings. Senior Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.) leads the way as the No. 2 player in the nation, while senior Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) is ranked No. 15 and senior Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) is ranked No. 78.

In doubles, the duo of Collins and Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Me.) is ranked No. 22 nationally.

Notre Dame is coming off a 4-3 win at No. 30 Virginia Tech on Friday and features three players ranked in the latest ITA singles rankings. Quinn Gleason is ranked No. 50, while Monica Robinson is ranked No. 81 and Allison Miller is ranked No. 108.

The Irish also have one doubles team ranked in the ITA doubles rankings with the pairing of Gleason and Robinson ranked No. 32 in the polls.
