Cavaliers Continue Play At Duke Bonk Invite Saturday

2016 Duke Bonk Invite Brackets
CARY, N.C. – All four freshmen will play for third place in their respective brackets, while two Cavaliers advanced to the consolation finals as Virginia continued play in the Duke Bonk Invitational on Saturday. The tournament is hosted by Duke University.
Freshmen Hunter Bleser (New Braunfels, Texas), Camille Favero (Sacramento, Calif.), Chloe Gullickson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) and Rosie Johanson (Abbotsford, British Columbia) will all play in the third-place match on Sunday after dropping their semifinal matches on Saturday in singles play.
Sophomore Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) and junior Teodora Radosavljevic (Belgrade, Serbia) will both play in the consolation finals after singles victories on Saturday. Junior Cassie Mercer (Huntington, W.V.) and sophomore Erica Susi (Vero Beach, Fla.) will play in the third-place match of the consolation finals on Sunday.
In doubles play, the pairing of Mercer and Gullickson won the consolation finals of the blue bracket. Gullickson paired up with Mercer for Saturday’s match after playing with Johanson on Friday. Kelley played with Johanson on Saturday, claiming the third-place match of the white bracket, while the duo of Bleser and Favero won the consolation finals of the white bracket.
The pairing of Radosavljevic and Susi played in the third-place match of the consolation side of the black bracket on Saturday.
