UVA Fall Invite – Sunday Singles Scores | Blue Flight Doubles | Orange Flight Doubles | White Flight Doubles

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s tennis team closed out competition at the UVA Fall Invite on Sunday (Sept. 25) on a high note with the Cavaliers going a perfect 7-0 in singles matches and picking up a pair of doubles wins.

Weather forced play indoors to the Boar’s Head Sports Club and as a result, matches shifted to eight-game pro set scoring with the exception of the finals matches.

The Cavaliers got a pair of singles champions as junior Teodora Radosavljevic (Belgrade, Serbia) and freshman Rosie Johanson claimed their finals matches in straight sets. Both players defeated opponents from South Carolina as Radosavljevic defeated Silvia Chinellato and Johanson defeated Hadley Berg.

In other singles action, junior Cassie Mercer (Huntington, W.V.), sophomore Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine), and freshmen Hunter Bleser (New Braunfels, Texas), Camille Favero (Sacramento, Calif.) and Chloe Gullickson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) all posted victories.

In doubles play, the pairing of Kelley and Johanson won their bracket while the pairing of Favero and Radosavljevic won their match in the consolation finals. The duo of Susi and Bleser also won their third-place match in the consolation bracket.
