DiCamillo To Compete At NWCA All-Star Classic Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia senior George DiCamillo (Highland Heights, Ohio) will hit the mat for the first time this season when he competes at the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Star Classic on Saturday (Nov. 5).

DiCamillo will face off against Brock Zacherl of Clarion in an undercard bout at 141 pounds. The undercard bouts begin at 6 p.m. and precede the main event which begins at 7 p.m. The NWCA All-Star Classic is being held at the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State.

DiCamillo is ranked No. 10 at 141 pounds in the preseason Intermat rankings, while Zacherl is ranked No. 15 at 141 pounds.

The Cavalier senior has claimed three ACC Championships at 133 pounds, becoming only the seventh Virginia wrestler in program history to capture three ACC Championships. He moves up to 141 pounds for his final season with the Cavaliers. DiCamillo posted a 29-5 record as a junior.

Zacherl is a redshirt sophomore at Clarion and was an NCAA qualifier in the 2015-16 season. He posted a 28-3 record and claimed the EWL Championship at 141 pounds last season.
