NCAA Championships Brackets | Championship Central

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Redshirt senior George DiCamillo (Highland Heights, Ohio) and freshman Jack Mueller (Dallas, Texas) earned national seeds in the NCAA Championships it was announced on Wednesday as the organization released the brackets for the annual event.

DiCamillo is the sixth seed at 141 pounds, while Mueller is the 10 seed at 125 pounds. Cavaliers also in the NCAA Championships, but unseeded, are redshirt junior Andrew Atkinson (Lynchburg, Va.) at 157 pounds and redshirt freshman Sam Krivus (Greensburg, Pa.) at 149 pounds.

The NCAA Championships begin on Thursday, March 16, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

In his first matchup of the NCAA Championships, DiCamillo is set to face the winner of a matchup between Christopher Carton of Iowa and Joshua Heil of Campbell, while Mueller is set to face Travis Piotrowski of Illinois.

Krivus is set for a first-round matchup against the No. 15 seed at 149 pounds in Kenny Theobald of Rutgers. Atkinson is set to face the No. 10 seed Brian Murphy of Michigan in his first-round matchup. Atkinson and Murphy faced-off in November in a dual meet between the Cavaliers and the Wolverines. Murphy, ranked No. 5 at the time while Atkinson was ranked No. 20, took an 11-7 decision in that meeting.
