#FinanceCup

As the saying goes, “there are over 400,000 NCAA student-athletes, and most of us will go pro in something other than sports.” Former #UVAMTEN All-American Mac Styslinger proves the adage true, but also has found a way to continue playing high-level and high-stakes tennis. Styslinger has worked for Fidus Partners since graduating in 2016, but has just finished playing in his second Finance Cup. The teams are made up of former top college and professional players who made the transition to the finance world, with Team Wall Street facing off against Team Europe. The American squad won this year’s battle 9-2 with Styslinger, who was an NCAA doubles champion his freshman year of college, partnering with Maciek Romanowicz for a 6-3, 7-6 victory over Barry King/Nejc Smole.

#NationalSiblingsDay

Most of our sports’ social media accounts were celebrating the internet holiday yesterday with a variety of flashback photos of siblings who have played together over the years. This duo, though they didn’t play together, was one of the most potent sibling tandems in UVA history.
