Look Hoo Won the Lottery

Congratulations to #UVAFB cornerback Chuck Davis, who won $100,000 playing to Virginia Lottery. Davis was returning from an early morning workout when he stopped to pick up coffee for his mother at a 7-Eleven in his hometown of Ashburn. He played the lottery’s Cash 5 game, selecting numbers that his grandmother suggested.

When in Scotland…

#UVAMGolf All-American and recent grad Jimmy Stanger played in back-to-back amateur championships in England in June, competing in the British Amateur at Royal St. George’s in Kent (June 19-24) and the European Amateur Championship at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey (June 28- July 1). Though he is still on the island, he appears to have gone a little further north up to Inverness.
