Kitty Harrison Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Virginia women’s tennis team closed out day one at the Kitty Harrison Invitational on Friday (Nov. 3) picking up three singles wins and a pair of doubles victories in the first day of action.

Sophomores Camille Favero (Sacramento, Calif.) and Chloe Gullickson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), and junior Erica Susi (Vero Beach, Fla.) all picked up singles wins on the afternoon in action against players from Maryland.

In doubles action, the Cavaliers got wins from the pairing of Favero and Gullickson over a team from Kansas State, while the freshman duo of Maya Das (Potomac, Md.) and Lizzie Baker (Washington) picked up a victory in a tiebreaker over a pairing from William & Mary.

Play will continue on Saturday as the Cavaliers will face players from Maryland in doubles and face off against players from East Carolina in singles action at the round-robin event. It’s the final fall tournament for the Virginia with play concluding on Sunday.
