Virginia To Host Free Youth Clinic Before Friday's UNC Dual

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia wrestling program will host a free technical clinic on Friday afternoon prior to the start of the Cavaliers’ dual with No. 25 North Carolina on Friday (Jan. 19). The clinic is open to all ages and will be held at Memorial Gym.

As it is a technique clinic, there will be no live wrestling. The clinic will begin at 4:45 p.m. and run for one hour.

Virginia head coach Steve Garland and staff will instruct during the clinic. Youth who want to participate should bring a t-shirt and wrestling shoes. Nothing additional is needed to be a part of the clinic.

Free pizza and drinks will be provided to participants following the clinic and prior to the start of the dual with North Carolina at 7 p.m. Admission to all home Virginia wrestling dual meets is free to the public.
