CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Sophomore Jordan Scott (Portmore, Jamaica) will represent Virginia at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the triple jump, as announced by the NCAA office on Tuesday (Feb. 27). Scott is seeded fifth in the event.

The NCAA Championships will take place March 9-10 at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas.

Scott recorded a season-best performance of 16.35m (53’7.75″) in the triple jump at the ACC Championships last weekend. The performance earned him a silver medal and All-ACC honors in the event. His performance ranks fifth in the NCAA.

During the season, Scott was a two-time ACC Male Field Performer of the Week honoree. He earned the honor after finishing second at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational and first at the Power Five Invitational.

Scott will compete in the triple jump on March 10th.
