Guy Named ACC Field Performer of the Week

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Virginia senior Bridget Guy (Greensburg, Pa.) was named the ACC Women’s Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday (March 20).

Guy led the women’s pole vault at the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by Miami, last weekend. She finished first in the event and set a school record, clearing a height of 4.30m (14’1.25″). Her performance ranks first in the NCAA after the opening weekend of the outdoor season.

Guy and the Cavaliers will return to action March 30, sending members to the Fred Hardy Invitational in Richmond Va., and the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C.
