Virginia Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earned the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team Award, as announced on Tuesday (June 19) by the CSCAA.
The men’s team posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.29 for the spring semester. The semester GPA was the best in program history since UVA began recording semester grade point averages in 2003.
The Cavalier women were also recognized by the CSCAA for their academic performance this spring. The team tabbed a cumulative GPA of 3.34.
The CSCAA will announce the individual Scholar All-Americans next week.
To be selected for the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award, programs must achieve a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester.
