Lavender Concludes USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-  Former Virginia track and field student-athlete Jordan Lavender (class of 2015) concluded the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships on Friday (June 22) at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lavender recorded a time of 53.11 in the semifinals of the 400m dash. Her performance placed her 10th overall at the national meet. Additionally, she captured the sixth-best time of her heat. 

Lavender qualified for the semifinals after finishing second in her heat during yesterday’s first round race. She ran a time of 52.88, posting the seventh-best time in the opening round.
