FORT WORTH, Texas –The doubles pairing of Chloe Gullickson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) and Amber O’Dell (New Milford, N.J.) won a doubles title in the first outing, claiming one of three doubles championships at the Big 5 Challenge hosted by TCU on Sunday. 
 
In addition to the title won by Gullickson and O’Dell, two other Virginia doubles teams finished as runner-up. The duo of Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) and Sofia Munera (Pereira, Colombia) joined the pairing of Hunter Bleser (New Braunfels, Texas) and Camille Favero (Sacramento, Calif.) in taking runner-up status.
 
The junior Gullickson and freshman O’Dell won a 6-3 match over the pairing of Marta Gonzalez and Meg Kowalski from Georgia. 
 
On the way to the runner-up finishes, the pairing of the senior Kelley and freshman Munera dropped a 6-3 decision to Ilze Hattingh and Lauryn John-Baptiste of Arizona State, while the Virginia pairing of Bleser and Favero fell in a 7-5 match to Arizona State’s Cali Jankowski and Tereza Kolarova. 
 
In addition to the three championship matches, the sophomore pairing of Lizzie Baker and Maya Das also saw action, falling to the duo of Alee Clayton and Annette Goulak of Georgia by a score of 6-0.
