HOOS LIFE: My Playlist with Allison Shields

Senior defender Allison Shields (Phoenix, Md.) of the Virginia women’s lacrosse team shares her playlist for game days.
 
“I really like artists like Khalid, Quinn XCII and Timeflies for pregame music,” Shields said. “They have good remixes and are easy to sing along to, which tends to get me pretty excited for games. The Power Hour of Champions song was actually made by a UNC men’s lacrosse player with clips in it from them winning the national championship, so it gets you pretty excited. I also enjoy using SoundCloud as a platform in general because I like remixes and it’s also an easy way for us to share music with each other. I’m always look at Maggie Jackson and Sophie Alecce’s SoundCloud and adding some of their songs to my playlists.”
