CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.  – The Virginia Cavaliers (3-2) return to action on Sunday, hosting the Brown Bears (2-1) at Klöckner Stadium. Faceoff is set for 12 p.m. UVA is ranked No. 12 in this week’s USILA coaches polls and No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse/Maverick media poll. Brown is receiving votes in the coaches poll.

PARKING
Parking for Sunday’s game will be available on a first-come first-served basis in the University Hall and John Paul Jones Arena parking lots. Parking will also be available at the Emmet/Ivy Garage. Fans attending the UVA/Duke baseball game at 1 p.m. will also be utilizing the same parking.
 
HOW TO FOLLOW
Live stats will be available at VirginiaSports.com. The game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, which can be viewed on the WatchESPN app, or by logging onto ESPN3.com. Jack Benjamin will call the play-by-play and Doug Tarring will provide analysis. There will be a live radio broadcast in the Charlottesville area on WINA 1070 AM and 98.9 FM. Luke Neer will provide the play-by-play. The radio broadcast can also be heard on SiriusXM ACC Radio channel 371.

 CAVALIER TIDBITS
• M Dox Aitken is No. 7 all-time at UVA among midfielders in career goals with 80. Greg Traynor (82) is next up on the list at No. 6.
• A Michael Kraus has at least one point in all 37 career games he has appeared in. The active streak is currently No. 4 in the nation.
• Sunday will be the 40th career start for D Logan Greco.
• In five games this season, UVA is limiting its opponents to a 73.3 clearing percentage (77-of-105), which is 5.6 failed clears per game by UVA opponents.
• UVA has scored 60 goals through four games this year and has assisted 37 of them. That means UVA has recorded an assist on 61.7 percent of its goals in 2019.
 
 SERIES INFO
• This is the 14th all-time meeting between UVA and Brown, but only the fourth time the series has been contested on either one of the school’s campuses. UVA has hosted Brown three times, while the series has never been played at Brown in Providence, R.I.
• Sunday is the first meeting in the series in Charlottesville since 1995, a 16-13 UVA win in the NCAA Tournament.
• UVA leads the all-time series, 11-2, but lost the last meeting in 2016. The 2016 meeting was played in the ACC Showcase game in Kennesaw, Ga. Current UVA head coach Lars Tiffany was the Brown coach for the 2016 meeting.
• The 2016 meeting was the last game Hall of Fame UVA head coach Dom Starsia coached for Virginia. Starsia, like Tiffany, is a Brown alum. Starsia coached Tiffany at Brown. 

 
BROWN
• Mike Daly is in his third season as the Brown head coach.
• Previously, Daly was the head coach at Tufts where he won three NCAA DIII titles. Current UVA assistant coach Sean Kirwan was a student-athlete for Tufts’ 2010 title and an assistant coach for their 2014 title.
• The Bears are 2-1 in 2019, coming off a 14-13 overtime win at UMBC last time out. Brown also owns a 20-7 triumph over Quinnipiac and a 13-11 setback to Stony Brook.
• Luke McCaleb and Darian Cook lead the way for Brown with 10 goals apiece. McCaleb has a team-high 16 points and George Grell has a team-best eight assists.
• Cook and Grell are second on the team with 13 points. 
• Jason Simaan is winning 58.7 percent (37-of-63) of his draws at the faceoff X.
• Phil Goss is saving 42.1 percent of shots between the pipes and posting an 11.19 goals against average.

Tickets at the gate will be $10 (reserved) and $8 (general admission).
