DOHA, Qatar. – Virginia senior Jordan Scott (Portmore) concluded competition at the IAAF World Championships on Friday (Sept. 27).
The Cavalier jumper represented Jamaica in the triple jump. Scott opened competition with a mark of 14.73m (48-4) in the opening round, before passing on his final two attempts. The senior finished 33rd overall at the international competition.
Scott is one of two Cavaliers set to compete at the meet as former UVA thrower Filip Mihaljevic (class of 2017) will represent Croatia in the shot put on Thursday (Oct. 3).
