CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 7 Virginia (6-0) hosts Maine (2-3) in nonconference men’s basketball action Wednesday, Nov. 27.  Tipoff at John Paul Jones Arena is set for 4 p.m. on ACC Network.

• UVA meets Maine for the first time
• The Cavaliers captured their seventh straight November tournament championship with its 48-45 win over Arizona State in the Air Force Reserve Tip Off Tournament final.
• UVA has a 20-game home nonconference winning streak and is 138-36 (.793) in non-league play under Tony Bennett.

UVA Ranked No. 7 in Latest AP Poll
• Virginia is ranked No. 7 for the second straight week in the latest Associated Press poll and No. 6 in the USA Today Coaches’ preseason poll.
• UVA has been ranked in the AP poll for 38 straight weeks and had been ranked in the top 10 in 34 of the last 35 polls.

• Casey Morsell had a career-high 19 points as No. 7 Virginia defeated Arizona State 48-45 for the Air Force Reserve Tip Off Tournament title.
• Mamadi Diakite chipped in 15 points as UVA overcame a 19-0 Sun Devil run spanning halftime to remain unbeaten.
• UVA went on 8-0 run, holding ASU scoreless for 7:04 in second half.
• Braxton Key had a game-high eight rebounds and walk-on Chase Coleman made his first career 3-pointer.

Hoo Are These Cavaliers?
• The quartet of Mamadi Diakite, Kihei Clark, Braxton Key and Jay Huff lead Virginia into action this season.
• Diakite leads UVA in scoring (13.7 ppg) and is third in rebounding (7.3), while Clark is averaging 9.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and a team-high 5.0 assists.
• Key is averaging 10.3 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds, and Huff has tallied 9.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and team-high 1.7 blocks.
• Kody Stattmann and newcomers Casey Morsell and Tomas Woldetensae have absorbed the minutes left by Ty Jerome, Kyle Guy and De’Andre Hunter on the perimeter.
• Morsell, who scored a career-high 19 points against Arizona State en route to all-tournament honors, is averaging 5.2 points.
• Stattmann is averaging 5.3 points, but has missed three games due to an illness.
• Woldetensae has started five games and had six rebounds in wins over Columbia and Vermont.
• Justin McKoy has provided additional frontcourt depth, while walk-on Chase Coleman backs up point guard Kihei Clark.
• Francisco Caffaro has appeared in two contests.
• Walk-ons Austin Katstra and Jayden Nixon provide more depth.
• Forward Kadin Shedrick is expected to redshirt this season, while Sam Hauser will sit out the season after transferring from Marquette.
