Virginia Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the program’s academic performance during the 2020 fall semester.

The Virginia men’s swimming and diving team recorded a 3.32 GPA for the fall semester, while the women’s team had a combined GPA of 3.63.

More than 450 institutions were named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America team for their academic performance during the fall 2020 semester. In order to earn Scholar All-America Team honors, programs were required to post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.

The Cavaliers will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., on Friday (Jan. 22) for a dual meet against North Carolina before facing NC State on Saturday (Jan. 23) in Raleigh.
