CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia track and field program will host its second session of Track’Ville Talks: Outside the Oval on Tuesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. The virtual gathering is for running enthusiasts, UVA Track & Field alumni and supporters of the Cavalier program. The one-hour virtual program will feature segments on current members of the UVA team, the Charlottesville running community and a historical aspect of the Cavaliers’ program.

Tuesday’s episode will include the four UVA student-athletes who won ACC Championships during the 2019 indoor meet. That group includes Brenton Foster (high jump), Sam Young (pole vault), Angie Knight (400-meter hurdles) and Anna Jefferson (400 meters).

Members of UVA’s 4×800 championship team from the 2010 Penn Relays will take about their remarkable victory on one of the sport’s greatest stages. That quartet includes Alex Bowman, Lance Roller, Steve Finley and Robby Andrews.

Mark Lorenzoni, a pillar in the Charlottesville running community and owner of Ragged Mountain Running and Walking Shop, will lead a discussion on the Run Cville/Run Your City initiative that includes Kristen Jones and Mary Blankemeir.
