CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –  The Virginia women’s tennis team opens the fall portion of its schedule by hosting the Wahoowa Invitational tournament Friday through Sunday (Sept. 17-19) at the Boar’s Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Va.

Most matches will be played outdoors at the courts of the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. Extra matches will be contested on the indoor courts at the Boar’s Head. In the case of inclement weather, all matches will move indoors with possible adjustments to the schedule.

The individual tournament will feature doubles and singles matches. There will be two waves of matches each day at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Sunday 2 p.m. Players from Virginia, NC State, Penn State

Neither live scoring nor streaming video will be available for the matches, but fans are welcome to attend. Results will be posted on VirginiaSports.com at the conclusion of play each day.
