MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Virginia men’s and women’s diving teams concluded competition at the 2023 NCAA Zone A Championships on Wednesday (March 8).

Sophomore Lizzy Kaye secured her third event qualification with an eighth-place finish on the platform. Kaye scored a 462.25 total, finishing with a 227.20 in prelims and 235.05 in the final.

Kaye qualified in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform. She is joined by senior Jenn Bell (1-meter, 3-meter) as qualifiers for UVA for the 2023 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.

On the men’s side, sophomore Nicholas Sanders made the finals on the platform and finished 13th. He totaled a score of 563.85 with a 276.55 in prelims and a 287.30 in the final.
