ANGEL CITY FC
Megan Reid – Defender

Megan Reid enters her second season with Angel City FC and started on the back line against Gotham FC in the club’s opener. She played the full 90 minutes for Angel City in a 2-1 loss to Gotham.

GOTHAM FC
Sinead Farrelly – Midfield

Sinead Farrelly returned to the NWSL with NJ/NY Gotham FC announcing her contract signing on Saturday before the squad opened play on Sunday. Farrelly had a productive camp with Gotham FC but did not see action in the opener the day after finalizing her deal.

Taryn Torres – Midfield – Out With Injury
Torres suffered a torn ACL in training camp and is out for the season as she rehabs the injury.

HOUSTON DASH
Diana Ordoñez – Forward

Ordoñez drew the start up top for the Dash in her first appearance with the club after her record-setting season a year ago in North Carolina. The forward played the full 90 minutes in a scoreless draw with four shots – two on frame against Racing Louisville

Courtney Petersen – Defender

Petersen made her first start for the Dash after playing the last several years with the Orlando Pride. She logged 45 minutes on the back line in a shutout of Louisville as the sides played to a scoreless draw.

KANSAS CITY CURRENT
Morgan Gautrat – Midfield

Gautrat was put on the injury list prior to the season opener and did not see action for Kansas City against North Carolina in the opener.

Alexa Spaanstra – Forward

A rookie, Spaanstra made the start in the opener against the Courage after being the 10th overall pick by Kansas City in the NWSL Draft back in January. Spaanstra logged 75 minutes in the start for the Current.

Haley Hopkins – Forward

The 11th overall pick in the NWSL Draft back in February, Hopkins did not see action in the season opener against Kansas City – a match the Courage won 1-0.

Ratcliffe re-signed with the Courage after joining the club in 2021. She did not see action in the opener against Kansas City.

Danielle Colaprico

In her first season with San Diego, Colaprico faced off against her former team as she made the move from Chicago to the Wave in the offseason. Colaprico made the start and took three corners for the Wave in the 3-2 victory over the Red Stars on opening day.

Makenzy Doniak

In her second season with the Wave, Doniak came off the bench and logged 19 minutes with one shot for San Diego in the win over Chicago.

Kristen McNabb

Also in her second season with the Wave, McNabb started in the season opener and played the full 90 minutes as the Wave picked up the 3-2 win over the Chicago Red Stars.
