Six Cavaliers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Six Virginia men’s basketball student-athletes were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the conference office announced Thursday (April 13).

Francisco Caffaro, Ryan Dunn, Jayden Gardner, Isaac McKneely, Kadin Shedrick and Ben Vander Plas were among 44 student-athletes named to the team.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s games.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
