CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The NWSL race is heating up as the summer gets into full swing and we’ve got the latest update on our Hoos in the professional ranks, including a game winning goal from Makenzy Doniak just 45 seconds after taking the pitch.

ANGEL CITY FC
Megan Reid – Defender

Reid has started all five regular-season games played for Angel City as the club has posted a 2-5-3 record on the year. Reid also saw action in both Challenge Cup games this season for Angel City. She did not see action in the club’s 1-2 loss against the Chicago Red Stars on June 5.

It was the first two professional assists for Spaanstra. Since then, she has clocked 14 minutes of playing time and 3 shots, all in the club’s 2-0 loss against Racing Louisville FC May 20.
