Virginia Hosts Georgetown In Saturday Night Exhibition
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Virginia women’s soccer team closes its preseason schedule with an exhibition match against Georgetown at Klöckner Stadium on Saturday night (Aug. 10). Kick is set for 7:30 p.m. It is part of an exhibition doubleheader with the Virginia men’s team.
MATCH DAY INFORMATION
• Admission to each of Virginia’s exhibition matches is free
• For exhibition matches, concessions stands will not be open
• A clear bag policy will not be enforced and fans are welcome to bring outside food and beverage (excluding alcohol)
• Virginia’s exhibition matches will not be streamed nor will there be live stats
SEASON OPENER
Virginia will open the 2024 season at home against Towson on Thursday, Aug. 15. Kick is set for 7 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.
TICKET INFORMATION
Season tickets for the 2024 season are on sale at UVATix.com. General admission season tickets are $40 each and reserved seats are $70 each. Discounted group tickets for groups of 20 or more as well as a Pick 4 mini plan are also on sale.
New for 2024, the Pick 4 mini plan allows fans to choose two conference weekend games and two additional games from the rest of the schedule for $24. The mini plan provides fans the flexibility to choose the games they want to attend and save money compared to purchasing single-game tickets.
Single game tickets are also on sale with general admission tickets starting at $8 and reserved seats starting at $12 for weekday and non-conference games. Tickets are $10 general admission and $15 for reserved seats for ACC weekend games.
NOTING THE HOOS
• It’s the second exhibition match of the preseason for Virginia which played Tennessee on Wednesday night
• Two players earned preseason All-ACC honors with Maggie Cagle and Lia Godfrey tabbed by the league’s coaches
• Yuna McCormack received the call to be on the roster for the U.S. U20 Women’s National Team for the 2024 U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia
