2023 Football Parking

Game Day Options – Parking in the UVA Health System Parking Garage at 15th and Monroe Street off JPA – Season price: $49; Per Game Price in Advance through the Parking and Transportation: $10; Per Game Price on Game Day at the garage entrance: $15. The Central Grounds Garage and Emmet/Ivy Garage are available on game day only for $15 with no opportunity to purchase in advance. These garages are located within a 10-15 minute walk of the stadium. The Emmet/Ivy, Health System and Central Grounds garages are available four hours before kickoff. Reserved parking adjacent to the Scott Stadium is available exclusively to qualified Virginia Athletics Foundation donors. The University has identified general public parking spaces for the football season to accommodate fans. Available parking includes UVA parking lots at North Grounds, areas at the Fontaine Research Park, and garages located at Emmet Street & Ivy Road, Central Grounds, the UVA Health System area and in Downtown Charlottesville.

Directions to UVA Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take second exit onto Route 250 Business East. Turn right at the top of the exit. Turn left at third traffic signal into garage entrance.

Directions to Hospital South Garage on Crispell Drive – Utilize exit 120 off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville. On Ridge Street turn left at the Cherry Avenue traffic light. Turn right at the 9th/10th Street Connector traffic light. In one block, turn left on Lee Street. In one block, turn left on Crispell Drive. At the 3-way stop, go straight on Crispell Drive. The Garage entrance will be 2 blocks down on the left.

Directions to Central Grounds Garage – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take second exit onto Route 250 Business East. Turn right at the top of the exit. Turn right onto Emmet Street at fourth traffic signal, travel 2 blocks, turn left into the Central Grounds Garage.

John Paul Jones Arena – Free on a first come, first served basis: Walk to the stadium via Alderman Rd. JPJ events may impact availability. Watch for posted signs.

Directions to John Paul Jones Arena – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take third exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road. Go straight through two traffic signals onto Massie Road.

Fontaine Research Park – Free on a first come, first served basis: Walk to the stadium via lighted pedestrian walkway and Stadium Road.

Directions to Fontaine – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take first exit and turn right at bottom of the ramp onto Fontaine Avenue. Take first right into Fontaine Research Park.

Parking in Downtown Parking Garages – The City of Charlottesville will provide Free Trolley service from downtown to Central Grounds on Saturdays from 6:35 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The Free Trolley runs approximately every 15 minutes depending on traffic and picks up fans at 615 E. Water Street (Downtown Station). Passengers heading to Scott Stadium should use either the Jefferson Park Avenue at Cabell Hall bus stop (#11155) or the Emmet Street at Central Grounds Parking Garage bus stop (#10472).

Virginia football ticket holders can also ride Route 7 for free simply by showing their printed or mobile game ticket. Free rides will be honored from three (3) hours prior to kickoff until two (2) hours post-game. Options for people with disabilities:

A UVA parking lot, located near The Park (corner of Arlington Blvd. and Massie Road), has been identified as free parking for people with disabilities. A DMV handicap placard or license plate is required to utilize the parking area. A free shuttle bus will run between that location and the Stadium for people with disabilities. The shuttle begins 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Directions – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel towards Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take third exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road. Turn left at the first signal onto Massie Road. Go straight at next stop sign.
