Jared Rayman - Football - Virginia Cavaliers

Jared Rayman joined the Virginia staff as a graduate assistant in March of 2024. He works with the UVA offensive coaches.

Played quarterback for the Cavaliers from 2019 to 2023 primarily as the holder on special teams. In 2023 he was named to the National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society. In 2022, he was UVA’s Cav Code Award Winner at the program’s annual awards banquet. CODE is an acronym for Character, Opportunity, Duty and Engagement and the recipient of a ACC Top Six for Service Academic award for his community service activities.

Rayman played quarterback at Pace Academy for former UVA All-American and current Cavalier assistant coach Chris Slade. He was a four-year letterwinner and was a captain in 2017 and 2018. As a senior passed for 2,500 yards and 22 touchdowns while also rushing for 770 yards and 10 touchdowns. He majored in public policy & leadership with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Rayman is pursuing a graduate degree in education.
