CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – University of Virginia freshman forward/guard Adam Hall is the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Rookie of the Week for his play in Virginia’s games with Clemson and North Carolina last week.

Hall, from Katy, Texas, scored 36 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the two games. He made 48.3 percent (14-29) of his shots from the field, including 46.2 percent (6-13) of his three-point field goal attempts, and 40 percent (2-5) of his free throw attempts. He also had five steals, three assists and six turnovers in 65 minutes of playing time.

In Virginia’s 88-65 loss at Clemson on February 17, Hall had team-high totals of 18 points and six rebounds. He made 53.8 percent (7-13) of his shots from the field, including 42.9 percent (3-7) of his three-point attempts, and 25.0 percent (1-4) of his free throw attempts. He also had three steals and three turnovers in 28 minutes of action.

In UVa’s 67-66 loss to North Carolina in Charlottesville on February 20, Hall scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. He made 43.8 percent (7-16) of his shots from the field, including 50.0 percent (3-6) of his three-point field goal attempts, and he made his only free throw attempt. He also had three assists, two steals and three turnovers in 37 minutes of playing time.

Virginia is currently 14-14 overall and 4-11 in the ACC.
