Blue Devils Sweep Cavaliers

DURHAM, N.C.-– The No. 21 Duke Blue Devils completed a sweep of the Virginia Cavaliers this afternoon with a 9-6 come-from-behind win at Jack Coombs Field.

The Cavaliers led the Blue Devils 6-3 heading to the bottom of the seventh where Duke scored two runs to cut the lead to 6-5. A four-run eight sealed the win for Duke as they improved to 22-3 overall and 3-2 in the ACC. Virginia fell to 12-6 and 0-5 in the ACC.

Tim LaVigne takes the loss for Virginia as he falls to 0-2 on the year.
