CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – University of Virginia football coach George Welsh has announced that Todd Braverman will handle the field goal and extra point kicking duties Thursday night when the Cavaliers open their season against Auburn.

Last week Welsh announced that Donnie Scott would handle the punting responsibilities. Scott, a junior from Rockville, Md., transferred to UVa from Catholic University in 1996. He played one year of basketball at Catholic. He has never played in a football game at Virginia.
