CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Cavaliers travel across the state to face No. 21 Old Dominion which is coming off a tournament title in New York.

The Cavaliers lost at No. 22 Duke on Sunday but bounced back two days laterwith a 77-63 home win over Loyola.

Virginia is led by Schuye LaRue and Erin Stovall who average 15.4 and13.9 points, respectively. Lisa Hosac led the way against Loyola, pouring in 22 points.

Old Dominion(4-1) rebounded from the most lopsided loss in schoolhistory, a 43-point drubbing by No. 1 Connecticut on Nov. 26, to win theCarrier Classic last weekend in Syracuse, N.Y.

Old Dominion crushed Memphis in the opening round, 99-60, before rippinghost Syracuse in the championship game, 71-46.

The Lady Monarchs are led by one of the nation’s best players in 6-foot-2 Lucienne Berthieu.Berthieu leads Old Dominion in scoring and rebounding, averaging 20.8 pointsand 8.4 rebounds per game. She was also named MVP of the Carrier Classic tournament.
