CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Fourth-year midfielder Amy Fromal has been named the Warrior/InsideLacrosse Player of the Week for her work in helping the Cavaliers to a pairof crucial wins last week against #5 Loyola and #13 Vanderbilt. Fromal hadtwo goals and an assist against #5 Loyola to help the Cavaliers to theupset, scoring twice after the Greyhounds had tied the score early in thefirst half. Against Vanderbilt, Fromal scored three consecutive Virginiagoals, including a pair just 30 seconds apart, after Vanderbilt pulledwithin one in the second half. She also had six ground balls and fourcaused turnovers to lead the Hoos.

Fromal now has 33 goals on the season, which ranks second on theteam. She is third on the team in scoring with 44 points, which ranks ninthall-time as a fourth-year. Her 33 goals also is good for ninth all-time.
