PRINCETON, NJ – Virginia’s Brian Kollar (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial)won the IC4A Championship in the javelin today with a toss of 69.52m (228’1?) while teammate Inge Jorgenson (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington) tookrunner-up honors with a throw of 46.56 (152′ 9?) in the ECAC Championhips tohelp the Virginia women take eighth place in the nation’s oldest trackchampionships with 28 points. Also taking second place for the Cavaliers was Hilary Wilson (East Clarindon, Ohio/Hawken) who won the silver in the discuswith a toss of 45.76m (150′ 1?).

Also placing for the Cavaliers was Kiamesha Otey (Quinton, Va./New Kent)who took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 5.92m. Natalie Randolph(Washington D.C./ Sidwell Friends)was sixth in the 400 intermediate hurdleswith a time of 61.47 and Carielle Doe (Reston, Va./South Lakes) took sixth inthe 400-meter run in 55.77. Sarah Folse (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) tookeighth in the 3000-meter run in a time of 9:38.32.

The Cavaliers now await to hear qualifiers for the NCAA Championships tobe held June 1-4 in Durham, N.C.
