CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia’s Kiamesha Otey (Quinton, Va./New Kent) won two events at today’s Maryland Invitational held in Fairfax. Otey won both the 60-meter dash (7.61) and the long jump (19′ 2.5″) to pace the Cavaliers.

Other winners for the Cavaliers included Naccole Guinn (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Jefferson) in the triple jump (41′ 1.5″), Natalie Randolph (Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends) in the 60-meter hurdles (9.46), and Eliese Mitchell (Narvon, Pa./Garden Spot) in the weight throw (55′ 11.25″). On the men’s side, Robert Schweiters (Centreville, Va./Centreville) won the pole vault (15′ 1″) while Marion Mason (Ft. Belvoir, Va./Hayfield) won the long jump (24′ 2.5″).
