DURHAM, N.C. (AP) – Georgia Schweitzer scored 19 points and Sheana Moschadded 17 night as No. 7 Duke beat Virginia 76-53 on Thursday night for coachGail Goestenkors’ 200th career victory.

Alana Beard added 12 points and six steals to help Duke (24-3 overall, 12-3Atlantic Coast Conference) lock up the top seed in next week’s ACC tournament.

Duke led 32-22 at halftime, then scored the first nine points of the secondhalf. Virginia (17-12, 7-8) got no closer than 16 at 55-39 in the final 15:12.

Virginia’s Schuye LaRue had 16 points and 18 rebounds, but also had nineturnovers. Svetlana Volnaya added 11 points.

Virginia had 24 turnovers and shot a season-worst 29.8 percent. TheCavaliers were 2-for-14 from 3-point range.

The Cavaliers need to beat Florida State on Sunday to avoid coach DebbieRyana’s first sub-.500 finish in the ACC since 1983.
