CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 54 University of Virginia women’s tennis team hosts Atlantic Coast Conference rival Maryland on Wednesday (April 4) at 2:30 p.m. at the Snyder Tennis Center in Charlottesville. The match was originally scheduled for April 11.

Virginia is currently 12-5 overall and 1-1 in the ACC. The Cavaliers are coming off a weekend split with ACC opponents Clemson and Georgia Tech. UVa avenged a pair of losses to the Tigers in the 2000 season with a 7-0 win on Saturday (Mar. 31), before falling to the Yellow Jackets, 5-2, on Sunday (April 1) at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

Maryland is 5-7 overall and coming off a pair of losses to Clemson and Georgia Tech. The Terps lost both of those matches by the identical 4-3 score.
