CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The #45 University of Virginia men’s tennis team faces in-state rival Virginia Commonwealth at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 4) at the Snyder Tennis Center in Charlottesville. The match was originally scheduled to start at 3:00, but was moved to 1:00.

VCU is ranked 26th in the WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings released on March 28. The Rams feature the nation’s second-ranked doubles team of Florian Marquardt and Frank Moser. Both players are ranked in the top 100 of the WingspanBank.com singles rankings as well.

Virginia fourth years Brian Vahaly (Atlanta, Ga./The Lovett School) and Huntley Montgomery (Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill) comprise the country’s No. 3 doubles team, which should make for an exciting match at No. 1 doubles. Vahaly is 12th in singles in the most recent rankings.
