Oxford, Miss. – The University of Virginia men’s tennis team lost its first round match in the 2001 NCAA Men’s Division I Tennis Championships, 4-0, to the University of Southern California at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center in Oxford, Miss. The loss was the Cavaliers’ third consecutive defeat in the first round of the NCAA Championships.
