Three Cavaliers were named to the IWLCA All-American teams as announced today. Lauri Kenis (Haverford, Pa./Havertown) and Lauren Aumiller (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) were both named to the second team All-South while Jamie Haas (Berwyn, Pa./Marple Newtown) was a third team selection.

Kenis became only the 7th person in school history to record 50 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers in a campaign this year. An All-Conference and an All-Tournament selection in 2001, Kenis is a three-year starter for the Cavaliers.

Lauren Aumiller notched her 100th career point against George Mason, becoming the first second year in the history of the program to reach 100 career points. She now has 114 points (82g, 32a) and is on the verge of breaking into the top ten in goals, assists, and points this year. She holds the school records for points as a second year, goals as as second year, and assists as first year. A member of the USA National Developmental team, Lauren leads the team in draw controls with 45.

Haas became the first person in UVA history to record three seasons of 50 points, having scored 59 as a second year, 58 as a third year, and 53 this year. With 184 career points (120g, 64a), Haas ranks third all-time in scoring, fifth in goals, and fourth in assists. She is one of only two people to rank in the current top-five of all three catagories at Virginia. A two-time All-American, Haas tied the school record for consecutive games with a goal in the Princeton game in 2000, a stretch of 27 contests.
